A resident of a lake home on the 12,000 block of Trewhitt Road in Lake Country called Lake Country RCMP when floating buoys worth thousands of dollars went missing overnight between April 16th and 17th. The five buoys (of unknown brand and colour) were in the water to mark the swimming area in front of the property.

CRIME: THEFT OF LAWN FURNITURE

Lawn furniture thieves hit the Lakes Subdivision in Lake Country in the wee hours of April 15th between 1:00 and 4:00 a.m. Neighbouring homes on the 13,000 block of Gibbons Drive reported pieces of furniture had been stolen from their decks. One home had a smoky grey storage box-style coffee table with wicker designs on the sides and a grey stone top (measuring approximately 4’ X 2.5’) stolen and the other home is missing a bike shaped planter and a cushion storage bin containing 2 cushions.
