RCMP FILE:    2017-73253

Kelowna RCMP responded to a panic alarm at 9:26 p.m. on December 7th, 2017 at the Subway restaurant located on Lawrence Avenue and Gordon Drive.  A male had entered the store, approached the cash register area, produced a gun and demanded cash.  The suspect is described as being a slender Caucasian male, approximately 5’7” tall wearing dark pants, dark shoes and a black North Face jacket with the hood up.  He fled the store in a northwest direction with the cash.  The lone clerk was shaken but unharmed.  If you can identify this person of interest please contact Kelowna RCMP or  report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.

RCMP FILE:      2017-74439

A break and enter occurred at a home on the 100 block of Ponto Road in Kelowna on December 13th, 2017.  A rear window was pushed in when the suspect(s) entered sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Missing items include a 55’ Sony Brava TV,  Xbox One and a green gun safe (48” tall by 24” wide) containing 4 long guns.  The missing guns are:

  • Mauser 270 rifle with serial number 462470
  • Winchester 270.30-06 rifle with serial number 236972
  • Baikal 20 gauge IJ-18 shotgun with serial number BT00972
  • 22 calibre rifle with scope with unknown serial number
