CRIME:            BREAK AND ENTER   

DATE:              November 20, 2017

RCMP FILE:    2017-69771

A daylight break and enter occurred at a home on Marathon Court in Rose Valley on November 20th.  The residents were out between 11:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. when a thief(s) broke in through a rear upper door.   The thief left with jewellery including this Vera Wang Love Collection diamond engagement ring and these 14 kt yellow gold diamond earrings.

The property representative from a strata complex located on the 1400 block of Green Bay Road has called in 3 separate incidents to West Kelowna RCMP in the last month.  On October 27th someone broke the firebox lock cylinder of the box that opens the community’s gate.  Video surveillance shows a white 4 door sedan entering the complex at 2:39 a.m.  On November 15th the strata’s mail boxes were broken into and mail was taken.  The thieves caused so much damage to the mailboxes that they required a $4000 replacement.  On November 23rd the gates were again discovered unsecured however nothing was found to be missing.
