CRIME:            THEFT OF MAC LAPTOPS

DATE:              November 17, 2017

A thief took advantage of the craziness of Black Friday to rip off some laptops from a busy electronics store located in Orchard Park Mall in Kelowna.  At approximately 8:30 p.m. on November 17th, 2017 a male entered Best Buy, walked into the stock room and departed through the shipping door with five Mac laptops, valued at an estimated $8000.  If you can identify this person of interest, please contact Crime Stoppers.

CRIME:            MISCHIEF AT TUGBOAT BAY

DATE:              November 29, 2017

RCMP FILE:     2017-71583

The City of Kelowna received a call early on the morning of November 29th when a citizen noticed damage to the lights lining Waterfront Park.  Sometime overnight approximately 25 of the light standards from the Bird Sanctuary in Tug Boat Bay along Waterfront Park to the Delta Grand Hotel had been smashed resulting in almost $30,000 in damages. Crime Stoppers is offering a minimum reward of $1000 for tips leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this vandalism.
