CRIME:              ATTEMPTED THEFT OF TRAILER

Just before 7:30 a.m. on November 18, 2017 an employee working at an RV dealership in Lake Country heard a suspicious noise outside.   When she went to investigate she saw a man backing a grey Dodge crew cab truck up to a 2017 27’ Jayco trailer.   When queried, the man responded that he was picking up the trailer as per arrangements with an employee and gave a name.  When told there was no one there by that name, the man got into his truck and left the property, driving towards Kelowna.  The man is described as being a Caucasian, 30-40 years old, approximately 5’8” tall with short brown hair wearing a grey sweater.

CRIME:           BREAK AND ENTER TO HOME UNDER CONSTRUCTION

An overnight theft occurred at a home under construction on the 13,300 block of Derek Tretheway Drive in the Lakes Subdivision of Lake Country on November 20th, 2017.  There were no signs of forced entry, however the home had been left locked up as there were a large number of tools in the house.  Items stolen include:

  • DeWalt tile saw
  • Makita mini grinder
  • DeWalt cordless min grinder
  • 2 saw blades, 1 glass blade
  • DeWalt mixer
  • DeWalt tool box with misc tools
  • 2 laser levels
