CRIME:           THEFT OF HUNTING EQUIPMENT

DATE:             October 12, 2017

RCMP FILE:   2017-61858

A truck packed for a morning hunting trip was broken into on October 12th on the 1800 block of Marshall Street in Kelowna.  The truck’s door was pried open to get to the almost $5000 worth of equipment.  Items stolen include:
            - Rival Prime Compound Bow (s/n 5R38932)
            - Sight React Pro (black)
            - Ripcord Ace Rest –  28” draw length, 50-60 pounds draw weight
            - Quiver with hunting arrows
            - Black bow case with target arrows and stabilizers
            - Badlands Camo pack with camo clothing, knives and deer calls
            - Black North Face small pack with survival gear
            - Sunglasses

CRIME:  ROBBERY AT M&M MEAT SHOP

DATE:    October 15, 2017

RCMP FILE:  2017-62498

Kelowna RCMP were alerted to a robbery in progress on Sunday, October 15th at 4:50 p.m. at the M&M Food Market located on the 2000 block of Harvey Avenue.  A man holding a knife had entered the store and demanded cash from the till and a customer’s purse.  He fled the store with a bag of money and the woman’s black leather purse that contained a beige wallet with cash and various bank cards, identification and an iPhone 5. The suspect is described as being a slim Caucasian male in his late twenties or early thirties who was wearing blue jeans, white shoes, a black wind breaker with a black hoody underneath, a grey and white ball cap and had a black bandana covering his face.
