CRIME:         THEFT OF AUTO

DATE:            September 11, 2017

RCMP FILE:  2017-55097

A blue 2009 Nissan Versa with BC license plate 636NNN and VIN 3N1BC13E99L401708 was stolen during the early hours of September 11th from the driveway of a home on the 11,000 block of Roberts Road in Lake Country.   Unfortunately the car held the owner’s red Guess wallet that contained a credit card, debit card and Miranda Lambert tickets.   Meanwhile, around 7:00 a.m., a clerk at a gas station in Kelowna refused to complete a purchase for a woman attempting to use a credit card with a man’s name on it to purchase a large amount of lottery tickets.  The astute clerk noted the license plate of the blue 4-door Nissan the woman departed in, which was the same as the recently stolen vehicle.   If you recognize either of the persons of interest in the photo, please contact police or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers.
