CRIME:   ROCK’N ROLL THEFT

DATE:    October 30, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-65119

Some late night partiers returned home in the wee hours of Sunday, October 30th to find the home had been emptied of electronics, instruments and collectible rock art.  Thieves entered the house located on the 1200 block of Pheasant Street through an open front window sometime between 10:30 p.m. on October 29th and 3:30 a.m. on the 30th.   Many of the items stolen are unique and include:

  • Apple TV (s/n Dy4LLBLCFF54)
  • Apple computer console (s/n W8039XZVDAS)
  • Apple MacBook Air (11”) (s/n C02JM3LFDRV6)
  • Xbox console with 11 games
  •  “Dimebag Darrell” blue guitar with lightening pattern
  • 3 Profile guitars (one red, two black)
  • Fender amp (black with silver front)
  • Peavey amp (black)
  • Autographed Zakk Wylde picture in frame
  • Kerry King picture in black frame
  • Slash picture in black frame
  • Dimebag Darrell picture in black frame
  • Autographed Black Label Society picture
  • Black Label Society black leather vest

CRIME:  THEFT FROM VEHICLE / FRAUD

DATE:    November 18, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-68780

On October 27th at approximately 1:45 p.m. a car parked in the lot at 2469 Highway 97 North had the front window smashed when thieves saw an opportunity to steal a purse sitting in full view.  While credit and debit cards were cancelled in a timely manner, the identification from the wallet was used on November 17th in an attempt to open an account at the Canadian Tire store  located on Leckie Road.  Police would like to identify this female person of interest.
