CRIME:  RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTER

DATE:    November 5, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-66497

A residential home under construction on the 13,000 block of Lake Hill Way in Lake Country was entered during the early hours of November 5th. Thieves stole a 150-pound oval shaped Neptune soaker bathtub valued at $800 (model VA3660F1).  The house is located on a cul-de-sac with very few finished homes.

CRIME:  RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTER

DATE:    November 14, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-68110

A residence on the 3300 block of Brun Road in Lake Country was broken into between 10:00 a.m. on November 11th and 2:15 p.m. on November 14th.  Thieves gained access to the home by cutting out a portion of a chain link fence at the rear of the property.  The house was entered by prying open a rear patio door. Stolen items include:

  • Grey Toshiba 4 GB laptop
  • Silver Brinks safe (2’X2’)
  • Red Milwaukee chop saw
  • Black Jelly Bean internet TV receiver
  • Mastercraft wrench/socket tool set
  • Passports
  • 2 Winchester 700XTR 7 mm bolt action rifles (s/n G1581162 and G2088264)
  • Browning 7 mm bolt action rifle
  • Mossberg 22 bolt action rifle
