CRIME:  THEFT AND FRAUD

DATE:    October 3, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-59758 and 2016-59752

Thieves in Lake Country were able to obtain a few more wallets left in unlocked cars.  One of the vehicles was entered on September 24th at a driveway on Okanagan Centre Road W and the suspects were able to use the tap function of the debit card at two local stores. The victim’s truck, a Chevy Silverado, also had the light bar stolen from it.  On October 3rd another victim on Shoreline Drive also reported a stolen wallet. Because keys for another vehicle at the residence were in the truck the thieves were doubly lucky.  Items taken include a gym bag with workout accessories, a gun magazine for a 270 rifle, prescription glasses and Lulu Lemon clothing. The credit cards were used at the 7/11 three times between 4:45 and 5:05 a.m.  Video footage captured this male and female alternating entry into the store to use the stolen cards.  Please contact Crime Stoppers if you can help to identify them.
