April 1st was alarming for the staff at Kaycan Ltd. when someone smashed the front door setting off the security siren around 11:15 p.m. An RCMP Cst. and police dog arrived to search the premises, but the suspect had already fled with a gray cashbox containing an undisclosed amount of money.

A Dolphin Avenue business is missing a cash register and cash after a smash and grab on March 29. Just after 9 p.m., someone busted the front window at White Light Distributors Ltd., and made off with the cash register and an undisclosed amount of money contained inside.
