CRIME: FRAUD WITH STOLEN CREDIT CARD
DATE: May 17, 2016
RCMP FILE: 2016-26007
Thieves used a metal coat hanger to access a car parked in the driveway of a home on Mariposa Court in the Hall Road area just after midnight on May 17th. They used the garage door opener from the car to open the garage door. The suspects grabbed a purse from the kitchen by accessing the unlocked interior door before they left the area, also taking a 21 speed blue and white Giant Iguana bike and a 2014 Norco Range 7.1. The purse was later recovered near Gordon Drive and Bernard Avenue. One of the credit cards was used at a convenience store on Springfield Road. RCMP members hope someone can identify this person of interest to help solve the file.

CRIME: THEFT OF BOX TRAILER

A construction trailer full of tools was stolen from a job site on the 1200 block of Lund Road in Black Mountain sometime in the early hours of July 7th. The trailer is a 2006 dark grey Interstate box trailer with BC plate number 18256U and VIN 4RACS12176N038336. There are several roof racks on top. The trailer held about $15,000 of assorted tools, each engraved with “Impact Builders” markings.
