CRIME: Business Break and Enter

Lake Country RCMP received a report of a break-in that occurred at Norval Rentals on Robinson Road. Video from the scene indicates that at 03:00 hrs a male wearing a hoodie is seen inside the business compound. The thief stole four fuel pumps and the taillights from a 2016 Ford Flatdeck truck parked in the compound.

CRIME: Attempt Break and Enter

Just after 1:00 p.m. on July 1, 2016 Lake Country RCMP were notified of a suspicious male who had been seen at a residence in the 13300 block of McCreight Road. A neighbour had heard loud banging coming from the residence and knowing the occupants were away he went to investigate. He found a male wearing a green shirt at the residence who claimed to be looking for someone who lived there. The male left in a red Mazda Miata that was later determined to have been stolen in Kelowna and recovered later that day in West Kelowna. Although an attempt had been made to enter the residence by the suspect he was not successful thanks to the intervention by the neighbour.
