CRIME: Liquids Liquor Store Armed Robbery

A description of the suspect and weapon used in the Liquids Liquor Store Armed Robbery March 3 just after 11 p.m. has been released. The suspect is a Caucasian male in his early 20s, blue/green eyes, clean shaven, wearing a blue hoodie, blue waist coast with black shoulder patches and a white logo on the left sleeve. He wore light jeans with a black belt, black/tan high-top hiking boots and white or tan-coloured gloves. His face was covered with a blue and white-patterned bandana. The gun used in the hold-up was black and looked like a 9mm handgun.

CRIME: Stolen BALFA Racing Bike
DATE: March 7-8, 2006

A break and enter at a Lake Avenue residence left a bike owner without his wheels. The culprit broke a basement window sometime during the evening of March 7, and took off with a red BALFA downhill racing bike. The bike has full-suspension, 8 speeds, disk brakes and is valued at $6000.
CRIME: Fraud at TD Bank

A cunning conman defrauded several TD Bank branches of more than $10,000 on September 7, 2005. He went to the Dilworth, Spall and Westbank locations providing a false name and stolen ID, and requested cash in Canadian and US funds for a business deal south of the border. Although the identification seemed to match his description, it was later discovered he had stolen the identity of an Ontario man. The suspect is described as a non-white male, 5’ 8 – 10”, 200 – 220 lbs., black hair, balding on top, who spoke with an East Indian accent.
