CRIME:  THEFT OF PALM TREES

DATE:    June 3, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-29991

Two palm trees were stolen from a residence on the 2100 block of Sunview Drive in West Kelowna during the early hours of June 3rd.  The trees were ten years old and valued at approximately $750.  The palms were growing in a wooden barrel; one being 14 feet tall and the second was around 4 feet tall.  The barrel would have been extremely heavy and would have taken at least two people to move.  The homeowners may have heard a tail gate slamming around 4 a.m.

CRIME:  THEFT OF CARGO TRAILER

DATE:    May 24, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-27632

Sometime between May 12th and 20th a cargo trailer was taken from the 4200 block of Beach Avenue in Peachland.  The trailer is a 1996 white and silver Wells cargo trailer bearing an inactive BC license plate (UXC25S) and VIN 1WC200D11T2029265.
