CRIME: THEFT OF GPS EQUIPMENT

DATE:    May 29, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-28885

A storage locker at a unit on the 3500 block of Woodsdale Road in Lake Country was one of several units broken into on May 19th.  This storage locker held 3 pieces of GPS equipment and a scanner.  The GPS units are all made by Leica and include a GS14 Geodetic GPS base (s/n 2804609), a GS14 Geodetic GPS rover (s/n 2804605) and a TS06 Total Station (s/n 1328023) in a separate hard red case.  The Scansnap scanner was in a box that had the edges taped with black gorilla tape.

CRIME:  DAY TIME BREAK AND ENTER

DATE:    May 24, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-27602

A break and enter was reported to Lake Country RCMP by a witness who watched as a couple made off with several items from a home on the 10,000 block of Seaton Road on May 24th.  A male rang the doorbell around 11:45 a.m. and attempted to enter through the back door.  He was then able to force open a side door, damaging the door and frame.   A woman waited in the idling car while he grabbed a 55 inch LG LED flat screen TV (s/n 55LF6000) and an old wooden jewellery box with various pieces of jewellery.  The man is described as a bald Caucasian male, 30-40 years old with tattoos on both sides of his neck (2 skulls on the right side of neck and a black and grey striped tattoo on the left side) who was wearing a black shirt, a black hoodie and two toned blue and black jeans.  The female was Caucasian and had long dark hair past her shoulders.
