CRIME:  BREAK, ENTER AND THEFT

DATE:    January 18, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-2936

Thieves targeted another Lake Country house under construction on January 18th.   Sometime overnight thieves used a garage code to gain entry into the Apex Crescent garage, backed in a truck and loaded up with approximately $10,000 worth of tools and materials.  This may be related to a similar theft that occurred on Travertine Drive on January 9th.

CRIME:  STOLEN ATV

DATE:    August 19, 2015

RCMP FILE:  2016-45664

RCMP would like to find the thieves who stole an1996 Honda TRX 400 ATV from a garage on the 14,000 block of Carrs Landing Road on August 18th.  The ATV was recovered on August 26th in Armstrong when an unsuspecting purchaser attempted to license it.  The ATV was listed and purchased through a Facebook Buy and Sell site and now the man who purchased the vehicle is out an ATV and some money.  Remember you can look up vehicle VIN’s through the Canadian Police Information Centre’s website to find out if they are stolen.  A link is available through the Hot Recs page on www.crimestoppers.net
