CRIME:  BREAK AND ENTER TO STORAGE COOLER

DATE:    January 27, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-4334

The manager of Lakeview Market on the 3000 block of Pandosy Street contacted police on January 27th to report that thieves broke into a fenced compound at the rear of the business at approximately 4:40 a.m.  Three suspects (most likely one male and two females) arrived in a dark blue or black pick-up truck with a large red toolbox with stainless steel cover in the box.  The suspects used a large pair of bolt cutters to cut the lock to the fence.  They attempted to cut the lock to the cooler but instead gained access by cutting the hinge.  They left with approximately 12 full boxes of Black Diamond Cheese.

CRIME:  THEFT OF SKI WEAR

DATE:    January 23, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-3809

A customer notified the staff at a ski and board shop located on the 2900 block of Pandosy Street that they had some naked mannequins outside the shop.  Thieves had stripped the mannequins of the insecure ski wear on display.  Missing are a men’s large grey/black 3CS  engineer coat, a ladies purple engineer coat, a men’s Billabong blue/green XXL coat, men’s medium  lime green O’Neill pants, men’s large black O’Neill pants and ladies pink/coral 3CS pants.  Value of the clothing is approximately $2000.
