CRIME:  ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER

DATE:    January 17, 2016

RCMP FILE:  2016-2760

An employee showing up for work at 5:30 a.m. at the Husky gas station located on the 10,000 block of Highway 97 in Lake Country contacted Lake Country RCMP to report an attempted break and enter on January 17th.  Police discovered that suspects cut through some alarm wires and also found extensive pry marks on the back door.

CRIME:  MISCHIEF                           

DATE:    January 15, 2016      

RCMP FILE:  2016-2378, 2016-2452

Two reports of mischief were filed on January 15th involving smashed car glass.  In each case nothing was taken from the vehicles.  A 2013 Chevrolet Spark located on the 9000 block of Mountview Road and a 1998 Suzuki Esteem parked on the 9000 block of Shanks road both had their rear windows smashed out.
