CRIME:   THEFT OF TRUCK

DATE:     November 30, 2015

RCMP FILE:   2015-66145

A truck outfitted with a snow plow and rear de-icer spray equipment was taken from the 2600 block of Compass Court in West Kelowna between Friday, November 27th and Monday, November 30th.  The truck is a white 2002 Ford F350 with BC license plate number JT5044 and VIN 1FTSF31L02EC15482.  The truck had vinyl “Action Snow Removal” decals on it and a full 1000 litre tank of de-icer in the back.  All keys are accounted for and the truck was locked and had a club on the steering wheel.

CRIME:   THEFT OF TRUCK

A woman started her truck on December 2nd then ran back into the San Clemente Avenue house for her purse.  Her husband, shovelling the driveway, watched the truck peel out, wondering why she was in such a hurry.   He then saw her exit the house and realized the truck had just been stolen.  A witness had observed a 6 foot tall male in a white hoody walking across the street, then crouch beside the truck before jumping in and driving away.  The missing truck is a 2000 white Ford F350 diesel with BC licence plate number 6045HN and VIN 1FTSW31FXYEC88314.  The truck has a gold 6-inch stripe above the running boards, slight damage to the rear bumper on the passenger side and has a black roll back cover.
