CRIME:   SUSPICIOUS PERSONS  

DATE:     August 26, 2015

RCMP FILE:  2015-47361

Concerned residents in the Camp Road/Hare Road area of Lake Country contacted RCMP to report suspicious persons who were in the area and seemed to be “scoping” out homes.  At one point they were witnessed ducking down out of sight when a police car was making a patrol past the area.  Both men were Caucasian and under 25 years of age and may have also been driving a side by side ATV.  They are persons of interest in a couple of occurrences.

CRIME:   BUSINESS BREAK AND ENTER                                   

DATE:     November 16, 2015  

RCMP FILE:  2015-63747

The security company employed by Woody’s Pub in Lake Country reported an alarm at the business at 1:58 a.m. on November 16th.   Police discovered that a vehicle had driven into the door and a suspect had been able to squeeze through the bars and grab 3 or 4 bottles of Grey Goose Vodka.  Video surveillance revealed the suspect male was wearing a face mask and gloves.  Police located a severely damaged stolen 1994 Dodge Dakota nearby but no sign of the thief.
