CRIME:   PURSE THEFTS

DATE:     November 10, 2015

RCMP FILE:   2015-6278-/63004

On November 9th a woman reported that she mistakenly left her purse behind when leaving Tim Horton’s in Lake Country at 10:25 a.m.  When she returned an hour later it was gone and had not been turned in to staff.  The purse was an 8” by 8” square travel purse with a Canadian flag on the front.  The purse held a wallet with all kinds of identification, bank and credit cards and some Canadian and US cash.

On November 10th another purse was reported as being stolen from a home on the 2500 block of Sylvia Road.  A woman had left her purse on a bench inside the unlocked front door and had been visiting with family in another room.  When she was getting ready to leave she noticed the purse missing.  After conducting a thorough search it seems the purse may have been spotted through the clear front door windows and taken.  The black and grey leather “Fox” purse held identification, bank cards, credit cards, cheque books and two Big White ski passes.
