CRIME: THEFT OF TRAILER AND QUADS

A trailer containing two quads was taken from a compound in West Kelowna on the Thanksgiving week-end, however the theft was not discovered until October 19th. A side gate on the compound located on 1300 block of Industrial Road was found to be insecure, having been cut by bold cutters. The thieves left with a black 2011 Rambler cargo trailer containing two black 2007 Polaris Sportsman 500 quads. The trailer had BC licence plate number 89294C and VIN 5NHURM625BT613477 and the quads VINS are 4XAMH50A272088815 and 4XAMH50A172088806.

A loss prevention officer at the Real Canadian Superstore located on Louie Drive contacted West Kelowna RCMP to report a shoplifting incident in progress just before 1 p.m. on November 2nd. An approximately 30 year old Aboriginal female wearing a black sweater and pants, flip flops and a teal jacket left the store concealing multiple items of clothing. She left with two men in a blue GMC Jimmy bearing stolen license plates.
