CRIME:   SHOPLIFTING  

DATE:   September 5, 2015

A Loss Prevention Officer from The Bay contacted RCMP on September 5th to report a shoplifting in progress.  A man described as a Caucasian male, approximately 45 years old and 6’ tall had left the store with a 9 piece cookware set and an electric razor.  Once outside he handed the stolen goods to a short 30 year old South Asian man driving a red Dodge Neon with inactive license plates who quickly departed.  The thief then got into the back seat of a black Ford Expedition that had a Caucasian female in her mid 30’s with blonde hair sitting in the passenger seat.

CRIME:   THEFT FROM VEHICLE                                    

DATE:   November 4, 2015    

RCMP FILE:   2015-61755

Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on November 3rd and 6:30 the next morning someone broke into a purple 2001 Honda Civic 4 door sedan parked on the 400 block of Curlew Drive.  Stolen items include an orange 8 gig iPod Nano and a $1200 chef’s knife roll bag.  The bag held a Masakage set (12” carver knife and Nakiri cleaver), a Shun black handled 10” chef’s knife, a redwood handled bread knife, a filet knife and various other utensils.
