CRIME: FRAUDULENT CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS      

DATE:   September 5, 2015

RCMP FILE:  2015-49697

The cardholders of two different credit/bank cards reported the loss on September 5th.  As the cards were rarely used, it is uncertain where and when they were taken from, however they were both used September 5th.   A suspect used the cards to make fake deposits at an ATM at Plaza 33 located on Highway 33 and then used them for withdrawals from the same accounts.  Police would like to identify this person of interest.

CRIME:  THEFT/THREATS

DATE:    September 18, 2015

RCMP FILE:   2015-52298

A Loss Prevention Officer at a grocery store on the 2300 block of Highway 97 North in Kelowna contacted RCMP to report a shoplifter.  A woman had entered the store around 6:00 p.m. on September 18th and made her way to the meat department.  When she attempted to leave the store with unpaid merchandise, the LPO confronted her only to be threatened with being jabbed by a needle.  The woman is a heavyset native female between 30 and 40 years old.
