CRIME:  THEFT OF METAL SCULPTURE  

DATE:    October 7, 2015  

RCMP FILE:  2015-56224

At 6:50 a.m. on October 7th a woman heard vehicle noise a little too close to their rural Barkley Road property and upon investigation found a 5 foot metal bird sculpture had been stolen from the front yard.  The approximate value of the sixty pound sculpture is $450, but priceless in its sentimentality to the owners.

CRIME:  THEFT OF COPPER WIRE                                            

DATE:    October 2, 2015       

RCMP FILE:  2015-55114

An employee of a paving company located on the 400 block of Beaver Lake Road reported the theft of some copper wire on October 2nd.  Thieves had entered the property and left with a spool of copper wire stored under a trailer in the yard.  The wire is valued at approximately $2000.00.
