CRIME: MISCHIEF/THEFTS FROM VEHICLES

DATE: August 29, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-48052,48069,48073,48094

On August 29th Lake Country RCMP received several reports of overnight vehicle break and enters at an underground parking garage located at 11505 Bottom Wood Lake Road in Lake Country. At least five vehicles were broken into: either by having their windows smashed or locks jimmied. Most had the consoles and glove boxes rifled through but not much of value stolen. The most notable stolen items include a car stereo (am/fm CD player, Pioneer subwoofer and amp) and a black CPAP breathing machine valued at $2000.

CRIME: VENDING MACHINE THEFT

DATE: August 28, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-47960

An employee at a hotel on the 9500 block of Highway 97 in Lake Country called RCMP at 10:30 p.m. on August 28th to report the theft of money from a vending machine. Suspect(s) had most likely used a tool such as a crowbar to break into the change box. All of the candy was left behind.
