CRIME: THEFT OF RACING BIKES

DATE: August 25, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-47122

Kelowna RCMP are looking for the whereabouts of two high end BMW bikes that were stolen in broad daylight from a trailer parked at a gym at the Dilworth Shopping Centre. Around 12:30 p.m. the owner reported that his trailer had both locks cut and two out of three bikes in the trailer had been stolen. Both missing motorcycles are BMW S1000 RR racing bikes, black and orange in colour, with the only difference being the colour of the swing arm (one is chrome, one is black). One of the bikes is a 2015 model with VIN WB10D1003FZ329285 and the second is a 2012 model with VIN WB1052402CZ029679.

CRIME: THEFT OF BICYCLES

DATE: August 30, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-48372

Kelowna has been hard-hit by bicycle thieves this year, and thieves got lucky with a pair of high-end bicycles stolen from a truck on the 1600 block of Pandosy Street between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. on August 30th. The first bike is a black and lime green Devinci Wilson Unisex Medium sized 9 speed bike with a lime green and purple custom decal near the fork that says “Team SUPA Heavy D”. The bike has disc brakes, clip-in pedals, a serial number of 92310490 and is valued at $5000.00. The second bike is also valued at $5000 and is a turquoise and black unisex larger sized 9 speed bike Devinci Wilson with a red and turquoise custom decal that says “Team SUPA O-Show”. Its serial number is 9231052 and has disc brakes and flat pedals.
