CRIME: MISCHIEF AT CELL TOWER

Representatives for Rogers Communications contacted West Kelowna RCMP on August 21st to report that a West Kelowna cell tower site had been vandalized. Thieves pulled down the fence at the tower site located on Pinot Noir Drive, broke off the lock and entered the building at the base of the tower. Once inside they pulled loose some copper lines that run the alarms and maintenance. Cell service was not compromised by this incident.
