CRIME: THEFT FROM COMPUTER STORE

DATE: May 7, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-27818

Kelowna RCMP were dispatched to Orchard Park Mall when managers of a computer store called to report the theft of two laptops on May 7th. Surveillance video shows a male and female taking the two 11 inch MacBook Air laptops complete with boxes. The serial numbers of the units are C02PH35BGFWM and C02PKMX6GFWM. Police are hoping to identify the two suspects shown in the photos.

CRIME: RECOVERED GOLF CART

DATE: June 23, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-32076

A Kelowna RCMP member made an unusual observation of a golf cart racing down Springfield Road and turning onto Gerstmar Road at 3:00 a.m. on June 23rd. The member activated emergency lights to stop the suspect, but the suspect turned onto Arbutus Road where he abandoned the cart and fled, hopping a fence to lose the police. Police Dog Services were called, however were not able to locate the suspect. The man left behind a brand new orange Yamaha golf cart with a damaged ignition and a black bike strapped to the back. If you have any information on this thief or know who the golf cart can be returned to, please call Crime Stoppers or the police at 250-762-3300.
