CRIME: THEFT OF TRACTOR TRUCK AND TRAILER

The owner of a stolen logging truck called West Kelowna RCMP just after 3:00 a.m. on March 27th . Thieves had cut the lock and broken into a compound on the 2500 block of Juliann Road. They would have had to have known what they were doing as they easily manoeuvred the logging truck and low-bed trailer out of the fenced compound. The truck is a white 2014 Kenworth with brown fenders, “Horovatin Enterprises” on the doors and BC license plate FF6195 (VIN 1NKDL40XXER967715). The trailer is a black Peerless low bed trailer with BC plate number 97369B.

West Kelowna RCMP could use the public’s help identifying the man who robbed the Super 8 Motel on Westgate Road on March 27th. A lone male, carrying a gun and whose face was covered with a black t-shirt, entered the lobby at 2:52 a.m. and demanded money. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a male just under 6’ tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds and was wearing a white baseball cap, a blue or grey hoodie and black pants.
