CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER

DATE: March 9, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-11028

A home on the 1300 block of Ponderosa Road in West Kelowna was entered between 7:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on March 9th. Suspects pried open a rear ground level window, entered and proceeded to rifle through every room. They left with jewellery, cheques, cash, a small digital camera, Home Depot gift cards, a silver MacBook laptop and a red Netbook. The stolen jewellery included a men’s Tungsten Carbide wedding band, a silver Pandora bracelet, a white gold tennis bracelet with a sapphire charm and gold solitaire diamond earrings. Similar files were reported at a home on Guest Road on March 3rd and a home on the 1400 of Scott Crescent on March 10th. Items stolen from Guest Road included a Cannon Rebel camera, an E0S2 camera, a Toshiba laptop and a German passport. On Scott Crescent they stole some jewellery, US and Canadian currency and seven bottles of wine.

CRIME: MISCHIEF

DATE: March 7, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-10731

Two reports of mischief occurred just hours apart at Selka Boat Centre located on Byland Road in West Kelowna. On March 7th at 7:45 p.m. the owner was closing the business for the night when each of the front windows was shot with what is believed to be a pellet gun. A few hours later the security alarms were activated when all the windows were smashed. No entry was gained to the building. A dark coloured lowered car was seen leaving the area.
