CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER/MISCHIEF

DATE: January 11, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-1541

Representatives of the United Church on Woodsdale Road in Lake Country contacted RCMP the morning of January 11th to report a break and enter. Five storage sheds located at the rear of the property had been broken into during the night. The sheds contained older thrift store items and it appears nothing was stolen. The attending RCMP member also noted that a bus stop across the street had been vandalized as a glass panel had been smashed.

CRIME: THEFT FROM CONSTRUCTION SITE

DATE: December 7, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-67953

An overnight theft from a construction utility trailer parked on the 13,000 block of Shoreline Drive in Lake Country was reported on December 7th. Suspects used a tool to cut a locked metal latch on the side door and stole approximately $3000 worth of tools. Missing tools include a 6000 watt generator, a yellow DeWalt air compressor, tool belt, a black Bosch builder’s laser, a blue Makita air compressor and a Craftsman socket set.
