CRIME: FIRE HALL BREAK AND ENTER

A fire fighter entered the fire hall on Gates Road on Tuesday, December 16th and immediately noticed the Motorola radios were missing from the counter. Upon further investigation he saw that two of the fire trucks had doors and drawers opened and there were various items missing including oxygen apparatus, circular saws and binoculars. Two iPads were also stolen. It has been determined that someone pried open the lock on the main entrance sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon.

The West Kelowna RCMP detachment received notification of a theft of a truck from the 3400 block of Apple Way Blvd on December 17th. The 2008 grey and tan Ford 350 Diesel pickup was taken from the driveway between 7:30 the night before and 6:00 a.m. A yellow 2003 Ducati motorcycle was in the back of the pick-up, making the theft even more painful to the victim. The truck’s BC license plate is HM3896 and VIN 1FTWW31R78EA42493. The Ducati’s VIN is ZDM1UB3S53B000753 and BC License Plate number is U78796.
