CRIME: THEFT OF SKIDSTEER

DATE: November 22, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-65398

A model 262C Cat Skidsteer was stolen from the parking lot of the District of West Kelowna located at 2760 Cameron Road during the night of November 21st or the early hours of November 22nd. West Kelowna RCMP received a call on November 22nd at 5:30 p.m. that the machine had been found 3 kms up the McDougall Creek Forest Service Road off of Bartley Road. It was dumped in the creek near a fire pit. The only apparent damage was a smashed out front window.

CRIME: ATV AND EQUIPMENT THEFT

DATE: November 24, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-65699

A black Ford F350 with mechanical troubles was left in a parking lot of an auto service lot on the 1800 block of Byland Road the night of Sunday, November 23rd. Thieves visited and left with quite a haul. They took a red tidy tank with $600 worth of diesel fuel, a pair of folding ramps, a marine battery, a chain and lock and a black 2006 Polaris Outlaw ATV (VIN # 4XAGP0A862062430).
