CRIME: MISCHIEF/THEFT

DATE: October 26, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-60574

A thief with the munchies broke into the dollar store located on the 9000 block of Main Street in Lake Country on October 26th. Video surveillance shows a person smashing the glass of the store at 2:17 a.m., entering the business and leaving with some pop, chips and chocolate bars. The thief was approximately 5’7” tall, wearing a light grey hoodie that had a dark band around the face/hood, a white mask and construction orange pants with reflective tape around the calves.

CRIME: THEFT OF BICYCLE

DATE: October 27, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-60799

A student who forgot her bike lock and hid her bike in some bushes while she went into the school to complete a project came back out to find the bike had been stolen. The theft happened on October 27th (reported just after 2:00 p.m.) in the Mayrus Road/Bottom Wood Lake Road area. The stolen bike is a ladies orange Kona Cindercone 20 speed mountain bike with Queensland Surfing and Corb Lund stickers affixed.
