CRIME: GRAFFITI TAGGING

DATE: October 7, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-57492

City of Kelowna staff reported at least 20 new tags to the RCMP that occurred over the weekend of October 4/5th. The tags were in various locations throughout downtown and an area of the Mission. Most of the tags are described as blow up bubble tags that read “DSEASE”. This tagging crew has created thousands of dollars of damage at the taxpayers’ expense.

CRIME: MISCHIEF TO VEHICLE

DATE: October 9, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-57502

The Kelowna Fire Department contacted RCMP when they attended to a gas leak from a truck parked on the 2300 block of James Road in the Hall Road area of Kelowna. They believed the leak had been deliberately caused. Upon attendance, police found a small hole drilled in the gas tank of the black 2010 Ford F-150 XLT. At 1:47 a.m. that same morning Kelowna Fire had extinguished a fire set to a red Pontiac Sunfire on the 2400 block of Packers Road in the same area.
