CRIME: MISCHIEF

DATE: June 23, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-32770

Residents living on the 900 block of Westview Way in West Kelowna reported a couple of instances of mischief to the RCMP on Monday, June 23rd. Sometime the night before their yard waste bin, belonging to the District of West Kelowna, was smashed into pieces and the yard waste was strewn across the road. A neighbor’s bin was discarded in a similar manner. Beer cans were left littering the road. Earlier the same evening a car squealed tires for an extended period of time, driving the residents inside as the air was unfit to sit outside.

CRIME: ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER

DATE: June 25, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2014-33219

West Kelowna RCMP were called by the owner of Pioneer Meats located on the 1600 block of Ross Road on June 25th. Suspects had unsuccessfully attempted to break into the business the night before. They pulled an air conditioning unit out of a window, ripped the screen down from another window and completely smashed another window. They were evidently deterred by bars on the windows and an intrusion alarm sounding.
