CRIME: Mischief to Construction Equipment

DATE: 21 May 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-25738

Police are receiving complaints from the contractor responsible for the new overpass on Bridge Hill that their machinery is being vandalized on a continuing basis. A number of windows have been smashed out and other damage done. If you observe this vandalism taking place please call Police immediately.

CRIME: Mischief to Vehicle and Property

DATE: 2014-05-21

RCMP FILE: 2014-25674

West Kelowna RCMP are investigating mischief to a vehicle and property at a residence in the 2900 block of Lakeview Cove. The resident of this home awoke to find that sometime overnight someone had released the parking brake of a Jeep that had been parked on the roadway, taken it out of gear and then let it roll down a steep hill onto his property. The Jeep rolled several times and was totaled. There was damage to several large trees and surrounding landscaping.
