CRIME: STOLEN DRILL RIG VEHICLE

DATE: April 8, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-17206

A very limited use vehicle was taken on April 8th from a tire business located on the 3400 block of Highway 97 North in Kelowna. The stolen truck was a white 2003 Ford F550 with a custom built drill rig on the rear that is used only for geothermal drilling. The truck was dropped off on Friday April 4th and was last seen by an employee at 9:30 PM April 7th. The unit is worth approximately $250,000. The vehicle had BC license plate number X08391 and VIN number 1FDAF57P73ED15397.

CRIME: MISCHIEF TO VEHICLES

DATE: April 7, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-17066/17080

Police received a couple of complaints late in the afternoon on April 7th regarding some damage to vehicles parked on the 3300 block of Casorso Road. Upon inspection it was noted that the vehicles had numerous small dents, chips in the windows and one rear window was half shattered. The damage seems to have come from a BB gun. Please call police or Crime Stoppers if you know who is responsible for this damage.
