CRIME: BREAK, ENTER AND THEFT

DATE: February 28, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-10056

A couple of seasonal homes located in a complex on the 3600 block of Woodsdale Road in Lake Country had their doors forced open in the last few weeks. Suspects entered only one of the units, searched through doors and closets and took only a red vinyl jewellery box containing two old Canadian coins, costume jewellery and some family photos and mementos.

CRIME: THEFT FROM VEHICLE

DATE: March 4, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-10798

Lake Country RCMP continue to warn residents to lock their vehicles. On March 4th a report was made to the detachment of a wallet stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 12,000 block of Lake Hill Lane. No cash or credit cards were in the wallet, however many pieces of ID are now gone. The culprits also left with a garage door opener from the vehicle.
