CRIME: PEDESTRIAN HIT AND RUN

A young man walking on Elk Road was the victim of a pedestrian hit and run at about 12:45 AM on Sunday, January 19th. He had been walking on the sidewalk on Elk Road near Ridge Estates Drive when he noticed an oncoming silver cross-over style vehicle with bright lights approaching. The man attempted to jump out of the way but the vehicle struck him and left him lying on the road with several broken bones. Luckily he was spotted by another vehicle and 911 was notified. Two gas station attendants performing closing duties were not happy to have their last customer of the night show up with a knife and rob them. At approximately 9:30 PM on Wednesday, February 12th, the suspect entered the Husky Gas Station located at 2610 Ross Road, produced a knife and demanded cash. He is described as a 25-35 year old blonde Caucasian male, wearing a black mask, black sunglasses, black pants, a black shirt with red writing and a grey/black jacket.
