CRIME: THEFT OF SLED DECK

The manager of a trailer business located on the 1800 of Byland Road contacted West Kelowna RCMP on January 16th to report an overnight theft. Thieves entered the property, moved several trailers in the yard to gain access to a particular flat deck snowmobile trailer and left via an adjacent business’s parking lot. The trailer is an aluminum SnoPro Sport Deck trailer with orange, black and white stickers on the side of the deck with VIN # 5WFBU1201FB000981. The trailer is heavy and would have taken a minimum of 3 or 4 people to move.

Employees of a mobile home park located at 2355 Marshall Road in West Kelowna left a unit they were renovating on the afternoon of January 18th and when they returned the next day discovered the door open and numerous tools missing. Witnesses believe the suspects may be a male and female associated to a newer model silver car (similar to a Cadillac or Chrysler). Missing tools include a Ryobi reciprocating saw, a Makita skil saw, a Ryobi 1/2” drill, a laser level, a Black and Decker chop saw and a Ryobi router.
