RCMP FILE: 2013-61437

Kelowna RCMP would like to warn the public not to leave valuables in their cars while hiking or biking at any of the local trails. Myra Canyon parking lot is no exception. Two women went for a hike between 11:30 and 1:00 PM on October 29th. When they returned they found the car’s passenger door had been pried open. The next day they discovered that 3 credit cards had been stolen from their wallets. The credit cards were used the same day at one of Kelowna’s electronic stores, where $2200 worth of product had been charged on the cards. RCMP would like to identify the male shown in the picture as a person of interest.

RCMP FILE: 2013-67274

The owners of a home décor store located in Spall Plaza called RCMP to report a theft that had occurred around 1:30 PM on Friday, November 29th. Video surveillance shows a man, woman and child entering the store; and while the woman was making a small purchase at the counter the man took a $900 golden danburite gemstone from a glass showcase. RCMP would like to identify this man as a person of interest.
