CRIME: THEFT OF DONATION BOXES

DATE: October 29 and November 5, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-61607 / 2013-62731

West Kelowna RCMP would like to identify the person responsible for stealing from veterans and sick kids on at least four occasions. A man entered the Liquor Depot on Louie Drive on October 28th at 12:38 PM, grabbed the poppy donation box and left. On November 5th just before midnight a man matching the same description entered the McDonalds on Gellatly Road and fled with the Ronald McDonald Charity change box. CRIME: RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTERS

DATE: October 30, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-61407/61349

West Kelowna RCMP are investigating a couple of residential break and enters that occurred on the same street in the early morning hours of October 30th. Suspects kicked open the front door of one home on the 3700 block of Salloum Road and exited through the back door. They left with a 40 inch Samsung TV, a 60 inch Samsung TV and a white gold sapphire ring. The second theft took place just a few houses away. A property rep caring for the home noticed the garage door open and a front door window smashed. The thieves had rummaged through the home and left with a black 1998 BMW 328i convertible. The BMW was recovered on November 1st in the parking lot of Gorman Mill on Dunfield Road, where it had been sitting since the wee hours of October 31st. A witness watched three men in their 20s taking photos of the car before they left in a white chevy pick up.
