CRIME: MISCHIEF

DATE: October 12, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-58221/58222

At least two reports were filed with Lake Country RCMP mid-afternoon on October 12th regarding some potentially deadly mischief occurring in Lake Country. Witnesses watched some youths throwing rocks from a cliff in the “Lakes” subdivision above Highway 97. Numerous patrols were made by Lake Country RCMP but they were unable to locate the suspects.

CRIME: THEFT FROM VEHICLE

DATE: October 16, 2013

RCMP FILE: 2013-58783

A man contacted Lake Country RCMP at 9:00 AM on October 16th to report an overnight theft from his vehicle. Someone entered his 2006 Chevy Van that was parked on the 11,500 block of Turtle Bay Court and stole approximately $1000 worth of drywalling tools. The thief took two drywall screw guns, 2 drywall cut-out tools and a 100 foot extension cord. All of the tools were labelled with the initials “F.R.”.
