Weather report

The weather in the Okanagan is expected to change come Monday morning, as a cold front will be crossing over the coastal mountains late Sunday afternoon.

That means freezing levels will drop below 1000 metres tonight and a flow of moist unstable air will bring heavy flurries to the higher elevations including the Coquihalla Highway and possibly the Okanagan Connector.

Between 15-20 centimetres of snow is forecast to fall on Highway 5 by Monday morning.

Kelowna will see increasing cloudiness tonight with winds gusting up to 50 kilometres per hour and a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight, that will continue into the morning.
