Water quality advisory, for Garnet Valley
Water Quality Advisory – Garnet Valley Water System
The District of Summerland wishes to notify all users of the Garnet Valley Water System that a Water Quality Advisory has been issued.
A partial failure of the Chlorine Disinfection System has resulted in low chlorine residuals throughout the Garnet Valley Water System.
Interior Health and the District of Summerland recommend that, children, the elderly, people with weakened immune systems, and anyone seeking additional protection use water that has been boiled or use a safe alternative. Water should be boiled for at least one minute.
Residents will be notified when the Water Quality Advisory has been lifted.
This Water Quality Advisory does not apply to the Summerland Water System.
