Man searches for dog after crash
A man who walked away with minor injuries after rolling his vehicle near Carmi, is now missing his best friend.
Police responded to a single vehicle rollover near Highway 33 and Trapping Creek Forest Service Road around 3:20 p.m. September 3. A 19-year-old West Kelowna man apparently fell asleep at the wheel and drove off the road.
The man had been traveling in a Toyota Tacoma with his dog, Storm, who was spooked by the crash and ran into the bushes.
Storm is a friendly, grey, pitbull who was likely thrown from the vehicle during the collision and it is unknown what injuries he may have.
