Charges laid against shooting suspects
All three suspects in Tuesday's wild chase and shoot out with police have each been charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of robbery using a firearm.
Ashley Collins, 19, of Kelowna, has been identified as the third suspect in the incident, she currently remains in hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
Shawn Adam Wysynski and Michael Edward Ellis, both of no fixed address, are also each charged with two counts of failing to stop while being pursued by a peace officer and dangerous driving.
Wysynski and Ellis have been remanded to the Kamloops Correctional Centre and will appear by video in a Kelowna Court Room on August 9.
Crown prosecutor Neil MacKenzie says it's unclear when Collins will appear before a court. He also adds that more charges could be laid against all three individuals pending the outcome of the continued RCMP investigation.
Investigators also confirm seizing firearms,which they believe were used in the commission of the offences.
